P’s composition is printed at its original, tiny size on 5 x 7" (12.7 x 17.8 cm) on museum-quality, textured paper with professional-quality dye & pigment ink. 

P composed this vibrant, flower-strewn study after fleeing the delightful chaos of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe up on the Royal Mile. She had Originally attempted to sketch the street musicians, but ducked down the steep stone steps after an overly enthusiastic troupe of acrobats tried to incorporate her easel into their human pyramid. Tucked safely in the narrow close outside The Halfway House pub, she captured its blooming summer window boxes in peace while the bagpipes echoed harmlessly overhead. It stands as a dryly amusing monument to finding a quiet, picturesque sanctuary in the absolute midst of theatrical madness.

The Details

While P. Pleasant's art is famously tiny, these unframed fine art prints are rendered on museum-quality 5 x 7" (12.7 x 17.8 cm) paper with specialized photographic dye inks. Third-party research suggests that this material combination with standard framing will keep your composition bright and crisp for almost a century!

The artwork itself remains at its original, miniature scale, surrounded by elegant natural white space. We do this to make framing incredibly easy for you in the human world—simply find a standard frame you love, and it will fit perfectly without causing a profound geometrical headache. Note: Due to the handmade nature of these prints, the paper size can vary 1/8 of an inch (3.5mm).
