Installing & Framing Unframed Fine Art Prints

The Freedom of the Unframed Canvas

Every piece that leaves P. Pleasant Atelier is a complete, self-contained story waiting to find its place in your world. We intentionally offer a wide selection of P's artworks unframed, giving you the absolute freedom to dictate how they interact with your space.

Your artwork should have been accompanied by all the bits and bobs you see in the photograph above. If any of these objects were missing, please reach out to the atelier and we will rectify this error right away!

Think of an unframed composition as an open invitation. Whether you choose to house it in an ornate, gilded frame that looks as though it was plucked straight from Portobello Road, or opt for a clean, minimalist border that lets the artwork breathe completely on its own, the choice is entirely yours. You are the ultimate curator—feel free to frame, mount, or display them in whatever manner best fits the unique architecture and spirit of your home.

A Little Note on Presentation

  • The Buyer’s Choice: Each composition arrives carefully preserved and ready to meet your local custom framer or slip into a standard display size of your choosing.

  • Installation Liberty: From classic matting to floating mounts, we encourage you to follow your own aesthetic intuition to bring these characters and landscapes to life.

P.S. Wherever your chosen frame takes you, we hope you will keep a quiet, guiding principle in mind: Magic lives in the unexpected. Consider installing your new composition in a surprising corner of your home—a hidden hallway, a sunlit nook, or a quiet space where it can bring a sudden flash of unexpected joy to anyone who happens upon it. If you need some inspiration, you can always peruse our social media dispatches or explore our Installation Inspiration collection. And should a guest or fellow traveler overlook the subtle secrets, stories, and details woven into the print, we kindly ask that you do not rush over and point them out (a knowing wink or clue is perfectly acceptable). Let them discover the mystery for themselves as some wonders are best left for the imagination to unlock.
