P. Pleasant's Ancestry
P comes from a deeply creative lineage who have dedicated their lives to the preservation of fae culture and existence. As you may know by now (if you could actually finish Philonious's interminable account on fairies), humans must believe in magical creatures in order for them to survive. To this end, both of P's parents are extremely influential. Her father is a highly sought-after fae landscape architect, responsible for designing some of the most spectacular natural landmarks: the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, Knocknashee in Ireland, the Goreme Historical National Park in Turkey, and Mount Brasil in the Azores. Her mother is a fae activist and installation artist. P.’s mother is responsible for incredible —if not oft-overlooked —spectacles all over the world, including fairy rings, flowers blooming in between cracks in parking lot asphalt, and patches of four-leafed clovers found at the base of an urban tree-wells. Thanks to P's parents, humans the world over have retained their belief in the fae, ensuring our very existence.
